Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas
1 1/2 Tbsp. sour cream
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cut nuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Make a well and beat in eggs. Add bananas, sour cream, lemon juice.
Stir together with dry ingredients.
Fold in nuts.
Grease two bread loaf pans, put in waxed paper cut to fit bottom and grease paper also.
Bake at 350\u00b0 F. for 40 minutes.
Can be frozen.
