Pistachio Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. nuts
    8 oz. cream cheese
    2/3 c. powdered sugar
    2 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    2 pkg. pudding (pistachio)
    2 1/2 c. milk
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mix butter, flour, sugar and nuts.
    Pat in 9 x 13-inch pan. (this can be doubled, if you like a thicker crust.)
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Cool.
    Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, 1 (8 ounce) Cool Whip.
    Spread on cooled crust.
    Mix pudding and milk.
    Beat 2 minutes and pour over first layer.
    Top with Cool Whip and garnish with more chopped nuts and cherries.
