Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. granulated sugar
    6 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
    1 large can Carnation milk
    1/3 c. Karo syrup
    1 stick oleo
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except vanilla.
    Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, to soft ball stage you can roll in your fingers.
    Add vanilla.
    Set aside to cool (30 to 40 minutes).
    Stir until chocolate begins to cream.
    Add peanut butter or nuts (optional).
    Drop from teaspoon onto wax paper.
