California Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken, cut into pieces
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 tsp. lemon pepper
    4 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. honey
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
    pinch of red pepper
    2 tsp. minced garlic
Preparation
    Cut off all excess fat from chicken. Peel skin from breasts and thighs.
    Rub baking dish with 1 tablespoon oil.
    Rub chicken with garlic.
    Place skin side down in dish.
    sprinkle with lemon pepper.
    Combine remaining oil, lemon juice, honey, oregano, thyme and red pepper.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Turn pieces over and bake another 20 minutes.
    (Decrease cooking time by 10 minutes if using breasts only.)
    Baste chicken occasionally during last 20 minutes.
    Spoon with pan drippings before serving.
    Good served with rice or noodles and steamed broccoli.
    Makes 4 servings.
