Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 qt. milk
    1 qt. heavy cream
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1 Tbsp. rum extract
    1 Tbsp. freshly grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks with sugar in large mixing bowl until thick and lemon colored.
    Stir in milk.
    Beat egg whites until they hold a soft peak.
    Fold into egg yolk mixture along with grated orange and lemon rind, rum extract and nutmeg.
    Refrigerate overnight.
