Fresh Tomato Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 pkg. refrigerated pie crusts
    2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    3 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
    3 medium ripe tomatoes
    1 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Fit pie crust into a 10-inch tart pan according to package directions. Generously prick bottom and sides of pastry with a fork. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 5 minutes. Sprinkle cheese evenly into pastry shell and top with 2 tablespoons of the basil. Peel and slice the tomatoes. Arrange tomato slices on top of the basil. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place tart on baking sheet, then place on lower rack of oven. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining basil. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
