Mom'S Hot Veggie Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh green beans
    6 to 8 carrots
    1 small cauliflower or broccoli
    2 Tbsp. butter, oil or Butter Buds
    1 clove garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    lemon pepper to taste (optional)
Preparation
    Slice carrots; cover with water in a large saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to simmer.
    Cover with lid.
    While carrots cook, string and break green beans.
    Add to saucepan.
    Break cauliflower (or broccoli) into small pieces and add to saucepan. Cook until tender; drain.
    Place in covered dish.
    Add butter, crushed garlic and lemon pepper; toss and serve hot.
