Pork Chops In Applesauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter
4 pork chops (1 1/2-inch thick)
2 tsp. rosemary
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 medium jar unsweetened applesauce
1 1/2 c. sherry
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 can chicken broth
Preparation

Brown pork chops
on
both
sides
and\tends in butter, garlic and
rosemary
(in frying pan).
Mix remaining ingredients and pour
over chops in a covered casserole so that chops are covered by\tliquid.
Put
casserole
in 300\u00b0 oven and cook slowly for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Lower temperature if liquid does more than simmer. Long
slow\tcooking
is
required
for this dish.
Serves 4.
