Garlic Okra Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. okra
    3 c. water
    1 c. white vinegar
    1/4 c. pickling salt
    2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation
    Pack whole fresh okra into hot clean pint jars.
    Combine remaining ingredients and bring to boiling.
    Slowly pour boiling liquid into jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace.
    Prepared lids according to manufacturer's directions.
    Wipe jar rim.
    Adjust lid.
    Process jars in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
    Start timing when water returns to boil.
    Makes 4 pints.
