Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    pinch of salt
    1 medium can fruit cocktail (with juice)
Preparation
    Pour all ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat 2 minutes. Pour in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup nuts.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until toothpick comes out clean.
