No Cook Mint Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. margarine, softened
    1 tsp. peppermint extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. powdered sugar (4 3/4 c.)
    1 drop each red and green or your choice food coloring
Preparation
    Blend corn syrup, margarine, peppermint and salt. Add sugar. Mix until smooth.
    (Mixture will be very dry at first.)
    Divide into thirds (or desired number based on number of colors used). Knead red food coloring into 1/3, green into another 1/3 and leave the last 1/3 white.
    Shape into small balls. Flatten with fork on waxed paper lined baking sheets. Let dry.
