Wild Rice Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) box Uncle Ben's wild and long grain rice (cook according to directions on box)
    3 slices ham, chunked
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained or use fresh mushrooms
    1 onion, chunked
    1 stalk celery
    1 small carrot for color
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
Preparation
    Process a little at a time and slowly add remaining can of cream soup.
    Blend until smooth.
    Add slowly to the cooked rice and blend in additional milk to consistency of your choice.
