Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. regular rice
    2 qt. half and half cream
    4 large eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soak rice for 1 hour in warm water to cover.
    Put rice in large pot with cream and a dash of salt.
    Bring to boil, stirring often.
    Cook slow for 15 minutes.
    While rice is cooking, beat eggs in a bowl; add sugar and vanilla.
    Set aside.
    Remove pot from stove when rice is done and add egg mixture.
    Return to heat and bring to a wee boil.
    Pour into a large bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon.
