Vodka Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 carrots
    6 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. vodka
    1/2 onion, sliced
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Peel carrots and cut into strips.
    Melt butter over medium heat and saute carrots 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add onions and cinnamon. Stir 2 to 3 minutes more.
    Add vodka.
    Stir well.
    Cover and cook over low heat (simmer) for 20 to 30 minutes.
