Toffee Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    12 oz. milk chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine the butter and sugar; stir over medium heat until mixture turns a honey color and bubbles make little puffs of smoke (takes 10 to 12 minutes).
    Remove from heat.
    Spread onto greased cookie sheets.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    As they melt, spread over top of toffee.
