Grandma Cook'S Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sliced cucumbers
    2 large sliced onions
    1 qt. white vinegar
    3 1/2 c. white sugar
    1/4 c. canning salt
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers and onions in large bowl.
    Heat vinegar, sugar and spices to boiling.
    Let simmer for 5 minutes.
    Pour liquid mixture over cucumbers.
    When cool, pour mixture into jars or 1 large container.
    Set in refrigerator.
    In 7 days, pickles are ready to use.
    Will keep for months.
