Potato Snowballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 potatoes
1 egg
salt and pepper
Preparation

Grate about 6 potatoes on the fine side of your potato grater. Strain the grated potatoes through cheesecloth, squeezing fairly dry.
Save the liquid and allow it to settle.
Pour off the water and save the starch that settles in the bottom of the container. Add this starch to the grated potatoes and add one egg.
Season with salt and pepper and add flour as needed, mixing well.
Shape into balls and drop into boiling, salted water.
Boil 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove and drain.
Pour milk and butter or fried bacon over snowballs and serve warm.
