Kanuck'S Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Northern white beans
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 lb. salt pork
    1 medium onion
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. dark molasses
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight; change water.
    Add soda and salt pork. Parboil until skins break.
    Put beans in bean pot; add the salt pork and onion.
    Add mustard, sugar and molasses.
    Cover with bean water.
    Bake all day or overnight
    in 250\u00b0 oven which was preheated.
    Add water after about 6 hours if needed.
