Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. tepid water
    1/3 c. melted Crisco
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix yeast and water well.
    Add Crisco, sugar and 1/2 of flour. Add beaten egg and salt.
    Add remaining flour and let rise 2 hours.
    Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter; place on baking sheet.
    Let rise 2 more hours and bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    They can be cooked about 5 minutes, frozen, then finish baking when needed.
