Metropolitan Cheap Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg yolks
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. hot water
2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Beat egg yolks until thick.
Add sugar gradually, continue beating.
Add water and dry ingredients.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold egg whites and vinegar into batter.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes in greased and floured pan.
