Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. peanut butter, crunchy
3 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
3 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut, shredded
Preparation

Bring sugar, milk, butter and cocoa to a boil, stirring every few minutes.
Turn off heat; add peanut butter.
Stir until melted. Add vanilla, salt and stir.
Add oatmeal and coconut.
Stir until well blended.
Mixture will look sticky in appearance.
Spoon onto wax paper.
Let cool for one half hour to one hour.
Cookies will set up as they cool.
