Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening (soft)
    4 eggs (unbeaten)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together the first 4 ingredients.
    Add shortening, eggs and vanilla; beat for 2 minutes.
    Add cocoa and nuts; beat 1 minute longer until smooth.
    Spread in greased and floured pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
