Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. milk
1 unbaked 8 or 9-inch pie shell
nutmeg
Preparation

In a large bowl, lightly beat the eggs. Stir together the sugar, salt and flour and very gradually beat into the eggs. Add the melted butter, vanilla and milk and mix until smooth. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0. Reduce temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until custard tests done. Let cool before serving. Makes 8 servings.
