Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, sliced thin into strips
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 c. beef bouillon
    1 can beef consomme soup
    1 can water
    1 minced garlic clove or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 large green pepper, sliced in thin slivers
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    mashed potatoes
    chow mein noodles
Preparation
    Brown meat; add onion.
    Cook until tender.
    Add soy sauce, bouillon, soup, water and garlic.
    Cook on low until meat is tender.
    Add green pepper and cook until pepper is tender.
    Add cornstarch (mix with about 1/2 cup water), stirring constantly while adding, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
    Serve on mashed potatoes with chow mein noodles sprinkled on top.
