Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients with sugar in bowl, mixing well. Blend in rest of ingredients. Shape into small balls; roll in sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
