Crock Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. water
    3/4 c. salt
    grape leaves and green grapes
    shallots (optional)
    garlic (optional)
    mustard seed (optional)
    cucumbers
Preparation
    Put cucumbers in a large mouth jar and add the other ingredients.
    Put weight on top of jar to keep the cucumbers in the brine (about 10 to 12 days), then store in refrigerator. They will keep about 6 months, if they last that long.
