Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
    2 sticks butter or oleo
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    2 (7 oz.) cans coconut
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Add milk and vanilla wafers, then add coconut and chopped pecans. Bake in tube pan at 250\u00b0 to 255\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until dry looking on top.
