Strawberry Pliatsok(Shortcake) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 egg yolks
6 egg whites, stiffly beaten
6 Tbsp. sugar
6 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
1 qt. strawberries
1 (16 oz.) jar Solo strawberry glaze
1 small Cool Whip
Preparation

Wash, hull and slice strawberries.
Let drain; set aside.
Beat egg yolks until lemon colored.
Slowly add sugar; beat about 10 minutes.
Add baking powder to flour.
Add flour mixture slowly to egg yolk mixture.
Add vanilla; beat well until smooth.
Grease and flour an 11 x 15 x 2-inch cake pan or a jelly roll pan.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold batter into egg whites with wooden spoon gently.
Immediately pour into greased and floured pan and gently spread with back of spoon.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Let cool. Mix strawberry glaze with strawberries.
Spread over cooled cake. Spread Cool Whip over all.
Refrigerate.
Cut into squares.
