Blueberry Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. blueberries
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
    3 c. sugar
    4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Crush berries.
    Add 2 cups water and lemon peel.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Drain through cheesecloth or jelly bag.
    Squeeze to extract juice and pulp from berries.
    Mix sugar and 4 cups water. Boil to 260\u00b0.
    Add berry juice to sugar syrup.
    Boil 1 minute. Add lemon juice.
    Pour hot into hot jars.
