Daisy'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar (I use less, about 1/2 c.)
    1 c. boiling water
    2 lightly beaten eggs
    2 cakes or 3 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1 c. lukewarm water
    5 1/2 to 6 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar and boiling water in bowl.
    Let stand until cool or lukewarm.
    Stir in eggs and dissolved yeast.
    Add to mixture.
    Stir in flour; add salt.
    Work with hands for 30 minutes. (This is now done by the mixer on low before all flour is added.)
    Grease a bowl and place the dough into it.
    Use a very large bowl to allow for raising.
    Cover with a wet cloth and a loose-fitting lid.
    Leave in refrigerator overnight.
