Ingredients

2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Punch out dough size of walnut. Roll in sugar.
Press down with fork. Can be rolled. Cut with cookie cutter.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
