Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. almond
    1 tsp. vanilla
    salt
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in greased/floured or sprayed Bundt pan. This cake bakes with a \"crack.\"
    Keeps well in Tupperware.
    Is great as bottom layer for any fresh fruit and ice cream or fudge sundae.
