Whole Wheat Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Combine flours, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
Make a well in dry ingredients.
Add milk, then oil to well.
Stir with a fork, only until dough leaves sides of bowl.
Turn dough out onto lightly floured board or pastry cloth; knead gently, just until smooth.
Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut into rounds with floured 2 1/2-inch cutter.
Place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
