Quick And Easy Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. washed berries or peeled and diced fruit (apples, pears, peaches)*
Preparation
    *If fruit is not tangy enough, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
