Monkey Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 pkg. yeast
4 c. flour
2 sticks butter
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream shortening, eggs and sugar until smooth.
Add yeast, then add 1 cup warm milk.
Add 4 cups flour.
Mix well and set aside to rise for 2 hours.
Melt butter.
Dump dough on floured board and divide into 2 portions.
Roll dough and cut into slices. Dip strips of dough into melted butter and layer into tube pan (or may place loaf of dough, dipped in butter, in a tube pan). Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
