Summer'S Meat And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 large onion
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 container fresh mushrooms (optional)
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger, cooked with seasonings to taste and drained
    4 to 5 medium potatoes, peeled, cooked (leave slightly undone) and sliced
    1 pkg. Velveeta cheese (medium size 2 lb.?)
Preparation
    Combine the soup and the milk and then layer:
    soup mix, cooked potatoes, meat, onion, fresh mushrooms and cheese slices. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves many.
