Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium red cabbage (you can use green cabbage; or both if making a large recipe)
    1 medium onion
    1 medium green pepper
    1 Tbsp. salt (if desired)
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, onion and pepper very fine.
    Place in flat pan, such as a Pyrex 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Cover with boiling water and let stand one hour; drain and return to pan.
