1/2 c. suet (put through meat grinder)
2/3 c. molasses
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 c. raisins
1 c. currants
Preparation

Mix all ingredients and pour into two 1 pound coffee cans. Cover with wax paper before pudding lid on.
Steam slowly for 2 hours.
