Asparagus Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. asparagus (48 spears), cooked and well drained
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    12 thin slices ham
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine butter and flour.
    Add milk and stir until thick.
    Stir in grated Cheddar cheese, salt and white pepper.
    Roll one slice of ham around 4 stalks of asparagus, then place in greased baking dish (9 x 13-inch) seam side down.
    When all are in place, pour cheese sauce over.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Sprinkle with paprika, lightly for color, before baking.
