Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. cornmeal mix
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. oil
1 egg
dash of garlic salt

Preparation

Mix together well.
If mixture is
too thick, add small amount of water.
Drop by teaspoons into
hot oil.
Cook until golden brown.
