Fresh Spinach Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. fresh spinach
1 can bean sprouts
1 can water chestnuts
1/2 lb. bacon, fried and drained
1 small onion, diced
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. catsup
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
Preparation

Wash spinach and remove stems.
Drain sprouts and chestnuts. Crumble the fried bacon.
Combine the spinach, bean sprouts, chestnuts, bacon and onion.
Heat in saucepan the salad oil, sugar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and wine vinegar.
Do not boil until sugar melts.
Pour over greens.
