Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 stick margarine
1 c. finely chopped carrots
1 c. finely chopped celery
1 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 cans chicken broth
1 qt. milk
1 lb. American cheese (either grated or cut into small pieces)
Preparation

Saute vegetables in butter over medium heat until tender (about 10 minutes).
Add flour and cornstarch and stir until blended.
Slowly add broth and milk, then cheese.
Cook over slow heat until cheese is melted.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
