Eggplant Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large eggplant
    2 onions
    1/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. oleo
    1 or 2 eggs, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel and cut eggplant.
    Cook with onions until tender.
    Mash. Add oleo, milk, eggs, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup bread crumbs.
    Put half into buttered casserole.
    Add cheese.
    Repeat layer of eggplant; top with bread crumbs.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
