Lemon-Cheese Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    2 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    6 eggs, well beaten
    juice of 6 small lemons
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in top of double boiler.
    Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
    I usually beat my eggs good with a portable mixer.
    Ice cake when cool.
    Good when Sour Cream Pound Cake is used for layers.
