Hot Spiced Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. whole allspice
    4 (2-inch) sticks cinnamon
    24 whole cloves
    1 gal. cider
    1 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
    grated nutmeg
Preparation
    Tie allspice, cinnamon and cloves in cheesecloth bag.
    Heat cider with brown sugar; add spice bag.
    Let simmer over low heat for 10 minutes or until cider is spicy enough to suit taste. Remove spice bag.
