Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 1/2 tsp. salt, divided
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. margarine
6 medium potatoes, shredded
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

In 12-inch skillet (regular or electric), over medium heat, brown the beef, onion, green pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper. Remove meat mixture and drain off fat.
