Aunt Marie'S Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 large eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 to 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sift flour, soda and salt together in a medium bowl.
    Set aside.
    Cream the butter.
    Add the brown sugar, vanilla and eggs; beat together in a large bowl.
    (Using a hand mixer here is great!
    If you have a Kitchenaide, wow!
    But a wooden spoon works well, too!)
    Add dry ingredients (a bit at a time) to the creamed mixture until well blended.
    Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or so.
    Cool on rack.
