Buckwheat Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 c. buttermilk or use regular milk with 2 Tbsp. vinegar added to sour the milk
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. white flour
    2 c. buckwheat flour
    1 level tsp. soda
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Bake on hot griddle.
    Save at least 1 cup of batter for your starter for your next batch of cakes.
