Aunt Ethel'S Dinner Rolls(Never Fail) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
1 pkg. active dry yeast
7 to 7 1/2 cups bread flour or unbleached flour
1/2 c. melted butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup of the scalded milk, having allowed milk to cool to warm (110\u00b0 to 115\u00b0).
Add 1/2 cup flour to dissolved yeast and beat thoroughly.
Then add remaining milk (cooled to lukewarm), sugar and half of the flour.
Again beat until well mixed.
Add melted butter, the beaten egg and salt. Mix well.
Blend in remaining flour and turn onto floured board. Knead until dough feels smooth and elastic.
