Chocolate Pecan Meringues - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites (room temperature)
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. chocolate bits
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Grease cookie sheets.
    In medium bowl, beat egg whites at high speed until soft peaks form.
    Beat in sugar, a little at a time, until stiff peaks form.
    Do not scrape sides of bowl during beating.
    Beat in vinegar and vanilla.
    Fold in nuts and chocolate bits.
